Starting out, I faced more than just kitchen mishaps. The bigger challenge was navigating my own mental and emotional hurdles. Days of self-doubt and nights of experimentation taught me perseverance, resilience, and the importance of believing in myself, shaping the foundation of the brand.
I built the brand from my home experiments, learning packaging, safety standards, and refining my process along the way. Joel Rebbi, a well-known pitmaster and friend who runs Rebbis House of Barbecue, offered advice and guidance that helped me hone my skills. Later, Asrid, my junior from college joined to lead business development, helping shape and grow the brand. Every challenge was met with dedication and teamwork, turning a personal passion into a real business.
